Joe McGuire: Birding Stories, Tips and Tools

A lifelong birder and nature lover, Joe’s presentation will include bird-watching tips (including information about phone apps and online alerts), fun facts, and stories from his bird watching excursions in all kinds of weather. This is aimed at the amateur nature lover.

Joe was introduced to birding at a very early age, accompanying his father, grandmother and great aunt on many nature hikes. Nearly 20 years ago, while canoeing in Maine, a bald eagle flew so close to Joe that he could feel the wind from his wings. He decided it was time to start his own Life List.
