March 21, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:30 PM
Cost: $8 at the door

With Rebecca Wolff and Cliff Purdue

NoMad Dreams: Add thoughtful lyrics to luscious, breathy vocals, marry them to jazzy chords and world rhythms and beautiful, wistful melodies. Multiply all that by the professional dedication and skill of these musicians–and you get NoMad Dreams. We have rather eclectic inspirations, from jazz standards to Beatles, to indie rock, to French chansons and Russian ballads – it’s a mix that will go straight to your head, like champagne.

There will also be an open mic!

Rebecca Wolff is the author of three books of poems and one novel, The Beginners. A chapbook called WARDEN just came out, and her fourth book of poems, One Morning–, is due out in the fall from Wave Books. She is a fellow at the New York State Writers Institute at University at Albany and is the editor of Fence and Fence Books. She lives in Hudson, NY.

Curtis Perdue is the author two chapbooks, We’re Happy Our Original Dance (winner of the Zoo Cake Press Chapbook competition) and You Will Island (H_NGM_N B__KS). He is the editor of inter|rupture, an online journal of poetry and art.
