SUMMARY:For Jenn: North Shore Poets Remember
DESCRIPTION:To mark the first anniversary of the passing of poet Jennifer Martelli\, the Salem Athenaeum will host an evening of poetry and remembrances. Co-hosted by January Gill O’Neil and J.D. Scrimgeour\, the reading will bring together North Shore poets to celebrate Jenn’s life\, work\, friendship\, and lasting presence in our literary community. \nJenn was a trustee of the Salem Athenaeum and a beloved North Shore writer. The evening will feature local poets reading and reflecting on Jenn’s work. Family members will also be in attendance. \nPlease join us for an evening of poems\, remembrance\, and community as we celebrate Jenn and her legacy. \nRegistration is strongly encouraged. \nSign up\nPLEASE NOTE: The city of Salem has a parking ban in the neighborhoods next to the Athenaeum\, so you’ll want to park in a lot nearby\, or on downtown streets where there is street parking. Some nearby lots are the one for the Salem YMCA (1 Sewell St.)\, the Universal Steel lot at 297 Bridge St.\, and the Commuter Rail parking garage (252 Bridge St.). \n  \nTicket Policies\nBy attending an event at the Salem Athenaeum\, you may be photographed or recorded.
