The Jorgan Trio+1 is a powerhouse of funky soul organ jazz, blending deep grooves, fiery improvisation, and infectious energy. Featuring the soulful saxophone of Henley Douglas Jr., the rich textures of Jordan Gravel on organ and keys, the tight, driving rhythms of Patrick Gaulin on drums, and the dynamic guitar work of Christopher Brown, this quartet brings a fresh, electrifying spin to the classic organ jazz sound. With their highly anticipated new album on the horizon, The Jorgan Trio is ready to take listeners on a deeply funky journey filled with grit, groove, and pure musical magic. A renowned sax player, Henley Douglas Jr. has been performing professionally for over thirty years. He’s formed and led countless bands. His music appears on over a dozen albums including a CD of original music as a soloist. He’s shared the stage with everyone from the Neville Brothers to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Laverne Baker. His music is featured on the upcoming reggae documentary “Reggae in the Ruff.” He co-founded a nonprofit organization supporting music education programs in schools and youth centers. Just when we think he’s done it all, Henley turns another corner and finds a new way to share his passion for music.

Christopher Brown is a jazz guitarist, musician, and educator based in the Boston area. Explore live performances, original music, videos, and private guitar lessons.

Patrick Gaulin, a force on the Boston scene as a bandleader, sideman & educator in drums and percussion, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music.

Jordan Gravel is a versatile Hammond B3 organist who performs around the Northeast. After growing up in Marblehead Massachusetts, Jordan studied jazz at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where he performed six days a week in various trios and quartets. It was there that he released his first two albums, Inner Preservation and Collage. Upon returning to the Boston area, Jordan linked up with his brother’s band The Gravel Project, and can be heard on the band’s latest release, Wishful Thinking. Jordan is also an avid music educator, and teaches full time at the The Sage School as well as privately.
