The Salem Athenaeum’s new series “If Music Could Talk,” in partnership with Salem Classical, brings world-renowned cellist Matt Haimovitz back to Salem after his much heralded 2017 performance with Philip Glass at PEM. Haimovitz returns with a thrilling program of Bach, Iyer, Glass, and Korean composer Isang Yun.  “If Music Could Talk” is hosted by Josiah Fisk and this special concert will feature a pre-concert discussion with Haimovitz, Fisk, and Salem Classical’s Richard Guérin.
