To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Laury Guttiérez leads a diverse ensemble in a fusion of European Baroque music and lively New World elements, with African rhythms, using early and traditional instruments (viola da gamba, guitar, percussion) and voices. Improvisational, jazzy riffs add their razzle dazzle. There will be guest artists from Mexico and Venezuela, and a captivating dancer. Spring is for life–new beginnings and metamorphoses. It is just the season to enjoy this irresistible alchemy of old and new, performed by excellent musicians.
