Inspired by Robert Pinsky’s Favorite Poem Project (www.favoritepoem.org), the Athenaeum Writing Committee is hosting a Favorite Poem reading to celebrate National Poetry Month. A poem can transform a life. It can give comfort, inspiration, or insight. Members and guests are invited to share a poem that has meant a lot to them and talk briefly about why. You don’t need to bring a poem to attend, just your ears. The event is free and open to the public. Please direct queries to J.D. Scrimgeour (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All lectures, concerts, workshops, and groups are now online. Please check this website for updates on times and login credentials.
