Has your heart been mangled? Mashed? Have the pangs of unrequited love brought you humbly to your knees? On the day after Valentine’s, come to the Salem Athenaeum to hear local storytellers rehash their past loves with candid humor and lots of wisdom — the kind only love and disaster can teach. This fun and heartfelt evening of breakdowns and breakups will feature seven curated original stories and live folk music, built around our theme of “bad romance.”

Join us this mid-winter night for a cup of something warm, some delicious snacks, and lots of laughter as these heartfelt individuals share their stories:

Taylor Rae Botticelli
Alison Gerber
Matthew Korahais
Agatha Morrell
Guthrie Scrimgeour
Mingyue Tao
Alex Verville
