Blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs and the like are constantly in the news, and represent a whole new world for most of us. In this talk, digital security expert Mark Horvath will explain these concepts and what you need to know about them in practical terms.

Mark has spent over 25 years in the digital security space, including roles at Morgan Stanley and Microsoft. He is currently a Senior Director at Gartner, a technology consulting and advisory firm. There, he specializes in secure application development, quantum computing, and post-quantum encryption and advises clients on how to improve their software development processes. Mark has a BS in Physics from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Massachusetts.
