Please join Slow River Studio for a free beginner sketching lesson at the Salem Athenaeum! Learn to capture the beauty of what you see with patient instruction and fun activities. This two-hour adventure includes a thirty minute beginner sketching lesson and plenty of time to wander the library (inside and outside) and sketch with us. We will gather again at the end to share our work and some tips for adding more art into your daily life.

Slow River brings all the supplies and everyone walks away with new artistic confidence and great memories!

All ages are welcome, but students under age 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
