Julie Butters is a Salem-based actress and writer. A graduate of Harvard University, where she co-chaired the Hyperion Shakespeare Company, Julie has played roles ranging from Juliet to Lady Macbeth. She is the author of the book Pocket Prayers for Young Professionals (under the name Julie Rattey) and of stage adaptations of Jane Eyre and Little Women, both produced by Flock Theatre of New London, Connecticut. Julie has performed locally at venues including the City of Salem’s CultureHouse pop-up at Old Town Hall, ReachArts, and the Swampscott Public Library. Her website is juliebutters.com.
